Organic Buckwheat Pancakes

Ingredients

Vegetable oil for greasing the pan

1 ½ cups organic buckwheat flour

3 tablespoons sugar

½ teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

3 tablespoons melted unsalted butter

2 cups buttermilk

 

Directions

Heat a non-stick pan

Mix together flour, sugar, salt and baking soda

Stir in melted butter

Add buttermilk to dry ingredients

Stir until combined and mixture is a good consistency – be careful not to over mix

Place small amount of oil in the pan

Pour batter into pan to desired size

Reduce heat to medium-low

When bubbles appear on surface then flip the pancake

Cook a further 1-2 minutes until nicely browned
